Four Hour Body Update & This Week’s Meal Plan

Just Got My Copy of Four Hour Body by Tim Ferriss

I just weighed myself and I am 140 pounds.

This means, after 3 weeks of vacation and being completely off my diet, I only gained one pound.  And I ate a lot — dessert almost every night!

I think that’s pretty awesome!

In case you don’t know what I’m talking about, here’s my original post about The Four Body.

Here’s a link to buy the book: The 4-Hour Body: An Uncommon Guide to Rapid Fat-Loss, Incredible Sex, and Becoming Superhuman

This Week’s Meal Plan on the Four Hour Body

Some of you who are also doing the Four Hour Body diet have asked for a sample meal plan.

I’ll tell you what I’m making this week:

Tonight: Roast Chicken with Roasted Brussel Sprouts. I may also make a green salad.

Thursday: Ceviche with extra guacamole. I might also make some refried beans. (I’ll make some tortilla chips fried in expeller pressed coconut oil for my daughter)

Friday: Grass-Fed Pot Roast with Roasted Brussels Sprouts and Lacto-Fermented Sauerkraut (and for my daughter, corn on the cob).

Saturday: Almond Flour Chicken Nuggets (fried in expeller-pressed coconut oil) with Steamed Broccoli

Sunday: Binge Day! I’m going to eat olive oil potato chips (which I bought at Trader Joe’s), pain au chocolat, and I’m going to dinner at Animal Restaurant (read my review).

Monday: Pesto Shrimp (with brown rice spaghetti for my daughter)

I drink white wine (organic sauvignon blanc from Trader Joe’s) every night with dinner.

I drink Gerolsteiner mineral water during the day, or Soothin’ Infusion iced tea. It’s caffeine-free and sweetened with green leaf stevia.

Breakfast is always the same — 1 or 2 eggs fried sunny-side up or scrambled in butter. Plus a cup of decaffeinated black coffee with stevia.

Lunch is really basic, too — one of the following: cottage cheese, salami, leftover meat, tunafish with mayo, liverwurst.  Sometimes I’ll have a few nuts or a scoop of soaked nut butter. I need to make some more of my nut/seed crackers. They are a great vehicle for liverwurst!

I’m also trying David Lebovitz’s recipe for homemade cottage cheese today. I have been buying cottage cheese, since it’s the only dairy product allowed on the Four Hour Body. But I don’t like the fact that it is not organic, and definitely not grass-fed. If this batch of cottage cheese comes out, I will have homemade raw milk cottage cheese. I can hardly wait!

Also, I’ve been cheating a bit and eating chocolate at night. I know, bad!!! I’m going to make some coconut milk chocolate pudding and coconut milk chocolate ice cream made with stevia so I can still cheat but not feel guilty.
