This is Part 1 of a 6‑part series on my current working theories about parasites, bacteria, heavy metals, fluoride, biofilms, and how they cause aging. These are hypotheses I’m actively exploring in real time via biohacking, not medical advice or proven facts. I’m sharing my thinking process, experiments, and results as I go so you can decide what resonates and do your own research.

I lived in a house with contaminated water for a year. It wrecked my skin and caused my hair to start thinning. I also gained 15 pounds, and got cellulite for the first time ever.

I used an AI chatbot to figure out how parasites, heavy metals, fluoride, and biofilms are aging us from the inside out.

And how are these things aging us, you ask?

Spoiler alert: What if parasites are eating us alive – from the inside?

At least this is what I think... This is where my research is leading me. I could be wrong. It's just a hypothesis. But if I'm right, it's easy to fix. We could solve everything from acne to obesity to cellulite with detox and antiparasitics.

Why This Might Be the Missing Piece After 30 Years of Biohacking

I don't think this is just an interesting theory. I think this might be the missing piece I've been circling around for three decades.

I've been biohacking my health for over 30 years—ever since I was injured by vaccines in college and had to figure out how to heal myself.

Within a couple of years, I reversed my arthritis naturally – with diet and supplements. Read my rheumatoid arthritis story to learn how I did it.

Since then, I've spent almost 20 years as a health blogger. I also founded and ran the biggest health blog network in the world, Village Green Network.

I've had a front‑row seat to the wellness world for a long time. I've been able to pull in health information like a firehose and test a lot of it on myself.

And there’s one question that has haunted me the entire time:

Why do so many people do “everything right” with food and supplements and still not thrive?

The Current Models Don't Add Up

And here's what I keep coming back to:

  • We are not unhealthy because we don't know which superfood to eat or which diet is trendy this year.
  • We are not unhealthy because our bodies are not able to to use nutrients.
  • We are not unhealthy because we are eating the wrong things or eating too much, or not exercising enough.

We are unhealthy because we are overrun with unwanted visitors – parasites, mites, and microbes – that are attracted to living in bodies that are loaded with heavy metals and fluoride.

If the old models were right – if health was primarily about macronutrients and clean eating – more people would be thriving. But they aren’t.

That’s what pushed me to start asking different questions.

What if we’re missing the biggest part of the picture: parasites and microbes living on heavy metals, literally using our bodies as food and building materials?

My Hypothesis

Here is my working hypothesis:

  • Fluoride increases the bioavailability of metals like aluminum, helping to drive aluminum and other toxins deeper into our tissues.
  • Heavy metals then act like magnets and building materials for parasites, giving them both a food supply (us) and construction materials (metals) for their nests.
  • No matter how "healthy" your diet is, if your terrain is full of metals, fluoride, biofilms, and nests, you're feeding them more than you're feeding you.

Parasites, mites, and microbes are attracted to terrain loaded with heavy metals.

The parasites move in, eat collagen and other proteins, and use the metals to build fortified nests and biofilms. You can think of the metals as "rebar" that they use to build houses.

In other words: what we’re calling “aging” might not be a random, inevitable decline. It might be the long‑term result of invaders eating our collagen and connective tissue and using the heavy metals stored in our bodies to build armored nests inside our skin, fascia, bones, teeth, and even the tiny glands around our eyes.

That's why I'm sharing this now, even while I'm still in the middle of testing it. Because if this model is even half right, it explains a lot of what I've seen over the last 30 years: people doing "everything right" with food and supplements and still not thriving.

Because the real problem isn't just what's missing from the diet, but who is eating first.

What This Series Is About (Big Picture)

In this 6-part series of articles, I'm going to share:

  • How living in a house with contaminated water triggered sudden age spots, bigger pores, cellulite, and a 20‑pound weight gain in my body.
  • How I used an AI chatbot (Gemini) to dig into a hypothesis that parasites + heavy metals + fluoride + biofilms are a big driver behind "aging signs" like wrinkles, spots, cellulite, weak muscles, and even bone and tooth problems.
  • A simple way to picture it using lawns, nests, wasp hives, and nets, so you can actually see what might be happening in your own body.
  • At the end, I'll walk you through the roadmap and solutions I'm using right now—the actual tools and protocols I'm testing. Because it's not enough to just "eat healthy" anymore.
  • If you really want to lose weight, fix sagging skin, reduce wrinkles, get thicker hair, and eliminate cellulite, acne, and age spots, there are specific detox steps you need to take. I believe I'm getting close to figuring this out, and I'll have links below to the products and approaches I'm using so you can explore them for yourself.

This article is Part 1. Parts 2-6 will dig into my lawn analogy for skin, how parasites and metals interact, why mites might be behind acne and “age spots,” what might be happening to bones, teeth, and eyes, and the experimental protocol I’m testing to reverse all of this.

Again: these are just theories and N=1 experiments. I’m sharing the process, not handing you a finished cure.


My Story: When a House With Contaminated Water Showed Up on My Skin

I lived for a year in a house with contaminated water. The water heater never got hot enough. The dishwasher held standing water that wouldn't drain.

A plumber finally told me my hot water wasn't reaching safe temperatures and that the overall water quality was similar to what you'd expect in places with poor treatment standards.

During that year, a lot hit at once:

  • I gained around 20 pounds.
  • My pores got noticeably bigger.
  • I developed cellulite for the first time.
  • I started getting brown spots on my face and hands that I had never had before.
  • My hair started thinning.
  • I got a lot older – fast.

People will say, "That's just aging."

But I know my own body. This came on too fast, tied to one specific environment.

So I didn't accept "aging" as an answer. I believed it was the water—the bacteria, metals, biofilms, and parasites it carried.

I started experimenting. And I took my theory into a long conversation with an AI chatbot, asking hundreds of tiny questions until a bigger picture began to emerge.

This series is that story.


Here's the big question... If this much damage can show up from one bad house in one year, what does that say about the terrain we’ve all been living in for decades?

Once I saw my "age" spots as possible containment zones – little toxic landfills my body built to protect me – I couldn’t unsee it. Suddenly, every pore and patch felt like puzzle pieces.

In Part 2 of this series, I’ll show you my simple "lawn" analogy – and explain why I now think cellulite, pores, and “age spots” are really just different kinds of damaged grass... and why your face might be telling you a very different story than “you’re just getting old.”
