Detox & Heal (Day 20)
Chapter 4: Destroy the Biofilm & Drain the Swamp (Detox Step 1)
Our Bodies Are Over 60% Water – Medicate the Fish or Clean the Fish Tank?
Our bodies are composed of over 60% water. The brain is about 75% water, blood is 83% water, and the heart is nearly 80% water.
We've all heard this before, and it reminds us to stay hydrated. But consider this: stagnant water with no movement or aeration becomes a breeding ground for biofilms—a collection of bacteria and fungi. (We'll dive deeper into biofilms in the next section.)
Left unattended, stagnant water becomes home to dangerous diseases and pathogens. You know this if you've ever had standing water in your backyard. If you leave it sitting too long, you’ll end up with swarms of mosquitoes. What we need is flowing water with aeration.
Andreas Kalcker on Oxidation and Oxygenation
In his brilliant book, Forbidden Health, Andreas Kalcker asks the question, "How do we create energy in our bodies?”
Here is his answer:
“We generate our energy through combustion. Fuel is not the only factor involved; oxygen is just as, or even more essential. All combustion requires oxygen. Without oxygen, nothing burns. This simple fact is not taken into account to its full extent in most biochemical research.
Combustion is what creates the necessary heat and energy for our body to function and at the same time generates electricity, which is vital energy. The absence of electricity is the only thing that differentiates a dead body from a living one.
We are electric energy beings, with bodies that get their optimum energy through biochemical combustion. Oxygen is essential to this combustion; without oxygen, there is no energy, and without energy, there is no health.
