Happy Birthday to My Blog & St. Nicholas' Feast Day

Hey, guys, just wanted to send an update you all to let you know what is going on...

My life is in complete chaos right now... but I am absolutely confident that I am hurtling toward a very happy ending. Or, actually, a new beginning.

Also want to give an update to all my paid subscribers and students of my online course.

Happy Birthday to My Blog

Today my blog is officially 15 years old. Hard to believe it was that long ago. It has not been an easy ride. But I wouldn't change a thing.

Mommy Blogger Makes a Million Dollars

I went back and looked and I moved my very first blog, which was just a personal blog on LiveJournal, over to my official Cheeseslave blog on December 6, 2007.

My daughter, Kate was just six months old, and I was taking care of her, working 20 hours a week at a contract job, and blogging part-time, hoping that one day I could do it full-time so I wouldn't have to work and leave her.

Six years later, in 2013, the blog network I started grossed $1.3 million.

And then, the next year, I lost everything. The Deep State sicked their three-letter agencies on me and they have been trying to kill me off ever since.

But I'm not gonna go down that easy.

"They tried to bury us. They didn't know we were seeds."

December 6: Saint Nicholas' Feast Day

I also realized that today is the feast day of Saint Nicholas – yes, Saint Nick, Santa Claus. Same guy.

Most people don't know the real story of Santa Claus, but he was a real person and he was a saint.

You see, the reason we Catholics celebrate the feast days of saints is because we want to remember and honor them for what they did to keep Christianity alive. Protestants say we worship them but that's not true. We celebrate and commemorate their lives.

And no, we don't pray to them. We ask them to pray for us. Big difference.

St. Nicholas by Jaroslav Čermák (1831 - 1878)

The Story of Saint Nicholas

Saint Nicholas was a Christian priest, and then later bishop who lived from 270-343 AD. So, yeah, only a few hundred years after Jesus died.

He lived during the Roman Empire when it was illegal to be a Christian. His parents had left him money, so he was giving it away to all the Christians in his congregation, since most of them were poor.

There was one family that was so poor that the father had to sell his daughters into slavery because he couldn’t pay his bills and they couldn’t eat.

Nicholas wanted to help the family, but couldn’t do it because if people found out, he would get in trouble. He had already gone to jail for being a Christian. And if he they found out he was giving money to someone, they would be exposed as Christians, too.

Moretto da Brescia, “St. Nicholas of Bari Presents the Rovelli Students to Madonna and Child,” 1539

So he walked by their house and dropped a bag of coins through the window. He did this three times, until the family had enough money so they didn't need to sell their daughters.

One of those times, the coins landed in one of the girls’ shoes which were sitting by the fireplace.

This is where the tradition of putting treats and gifts in shoes or Christmas stockings came from.

You can read the whole story of Saint Nicholas and why we celebrate his feast day and Santa Claus here: The Secret Society of St. Nicholas.

Intercession of the Saints

See, this is how we do "intercession of the saints" – we call upon a saint and we ask him to pray for us in times of need.

Like this: Saint Nicholas, please pray for me and my family.

We're not asking him to do anything. Just asking him to pray.

Just like we would ask a friend to pray for us here on earth. We can also ask the angels and saints to pray for us in Heaven.

It's a Wonderful Life

Remember the movie, It's a Wonderful Life?

If you haven't seen it, I highly recommend watching it again this season. I took my kids to see it last Christmas and we absolutely loved it.

It's the story of George Bailey, played by Jimmy Stewart. He is relentlessly attacked by Deep State banksters in the movie.

George is exactly like Saint Nicholas, selflessly giving up his dreams to support all the people in the town by giving them loans, helping them build their savings, buy houses and start businesses.

But the Deep State keeps attacking him, trying to take the bank away from him, and finally it gets so bad that he tries to commit suicide on Christmas Eve.

His wife, Mary, prays for him and he is rescued by his guardian angel, Clarence Odbody.

Anyway, I started this blog to help others. And I know that I have done that. I helped a lot of people learn to cook and eat healthier, and I helped a lot of people start small businesses.

And of course, that is why the Deep State has attacked me for the past 15 years. Because, like George Bailey and Saint Nicholas, I was trying to do good for others.

But I want to do more. I don't want to just give up and get a corporate job. I think God has much bigger plans for me.

And I know humanity needs a lot of help right now. So I'm not going to give up on my dreams to help others.

Divorced

So anyway, here it is 15 years later, and I'm officially divorced – as of last month.

I think that may have been the shortest divorce proceeding in history. He filed on Yom Kippur (Day of Atonement) and we were divorced less than 6 weeks later.

I was able to get primary custody of the two kids. Which is the most important thing to me.

However, my ex-husband is keeping the house.  I have to move out by January 15th.

So I'll be spending my Christmas packing. My husband has the kids, but they will be with me on Christmas Day to go to mass. (I made sure that the divorce decree says that the children are required to go to mass every Sunday and on days of holy obligation.)

The Book of Job

Suffice it to say: my finances are in ruins, my career has been all but destroyed, and I am now a single mom with 2 children to support.

And I'm in my 50s, with over $200K in debt (tax penalties and late fees and student loans) and almost no money for retirement. This is how the Deep State screws you. Death by a thousand cuts.

I have no family I can turn to. The only person in my entire extended family that I was close to was my dad, and he died last December.

I really feel like I've been living through the Book of Job this past decade. But if you read that part of the Bible, it does have a happy ending.

And if I didn't believe that God is completely in charge, I would be despondent right now. But I feel very certain that He is in charge, that He has a plan for my life, and that's why I'm not worried.

If you are a Christian and you are speaking out in defense of Christianity, and trying to help people, you will be persecuted. That's just a fact.

But God rewards those who remain true to him.

Major Miracle Yesterday

So... I started writing this blog post a week ago Sunday. I had to stop writing because I had to get the kids to church.

And all last week I was busy looking at houses and getting my head wrapped around everything I have to do to move.

I've been praying a lot and I know there are a lot of people praying for me.

Anyway, something happened yesterday and it was such a huge miracle – it's complete evidence that God has a plan for me and He will reward me. I am honestly still blown away.

I can't tell you anything about this miracle yet because it's not for sure yet and I don't want to jinx it...

All I can say is that this is such a massive sign that everything is going to be okay. More than okay.

I'll update you all as soon as it's official.

Okay, so let me update you on what I will be doing in terms of my blog and making videos...

Not Giving Up

Even though things are stressful right now, I am not worried because I built a million dollar company in just 6 years when my daughter was a baby.

And I know I can do it again.

Lots of people have been telling me I should get a job. But I want to focus on my writing career. I have so many books I want to write and I believe people will want to read them.

My Game Plan

I am trying my best to chop wood and carry water in all the chaos.

I know by creating content that helps people, I can make money by selling things: books, online courses, subscriptions, merchandise, and products I promote.

Because I got so destroyed by Big Tech censorship, I have almost zero reach. So what I have to do is rebuild my online footprint, extend my reach, and start getting eyeballs again. That's how I make money. And how I will support my family.

If someone out there is reading this and wants to know how they could do what I am doing, this is the road map. I've taught many people how to make money online, and even helped a few bloggers become six figure earners.

Here's the plan:

  1. Blog: I will keep writing this blog.
  2. Books: I'm working on a book – actually, the first of many – more on that below.
  3. GiveSendGo: I'm going to do a GiveSendGo... more on that below.
  4. Video: I set a goal to make videos every Monday, Wednesday on Friday, and doing short-form video as well (TikTok).
  5. Social Media: I'll still be posting on social media but I'll greatly limiting where I post because it is too time consuming for not enough reward.
  6. My Online Course: I've had to put this on hold temporarily because of the divorce but I'm going to compensate the people who have already signed up, and I'll resume the lessons after the holidays.
  7. Affiliate Links & Sponsors: I'll continue promoting products for sponsors.
  8. Donations: I'm accepting donations from my readers and viewers.
  9. Merch: At some point, I'll create t-shirts, etc.
  10. Advertising: Once I get traffic again, I can put ads on this blog and get money from ads on videos.

Okay, so let me elaborate on each of those below:

1. Blog

I've been posting here on the blog as often as possible in an effort to rebuild it.

My blog got tanked in search results when Google and Pinterest deplatformed me. So I'm having to start over.

I'll be posting here as often as I can so please subscribe to my free email updates.

2. Books I'm Writing

The first book I'm writing is called Metals, Microbes & Mindset. Actually, I am thinking of changing the name to Metals, Microbes & Magnetism. (I'll explain why later – when I post the first excerpt.)

This book is going to be all about what I think is really making people sick and creating chronic disease. And how to heal from it. Including how to heal from the quackzines.

I am going to start publishing excerpts of this book here on the blog for my paying subscribers.

Sign up here to become a paid subscriber.

3. GiveSendGo

I am going to launch a GiveSendGo (like GoFundMe but they don't steal your money if they don't agree with your politics) today to commemorate 15 years of blogging.

Look for a post later today or tomorrow on the blog, with the link to donate.

I really need financial help so I can keep blogging and get my first book written and get back on my feet.

4. Video: Battle of the Platforms

Video is the number one thing all content creators should do, because it's what most people consume the most of.  If you question this, just look at the history of books and newspapers vs. movies and television.

And I love being able to express myself via video.

However, there is a battle raging on the platforms... and I've made some recent decisions about where I want to be posting...

YouTube

I had been making videos on a new YouTube account because my original account was very shadow-banned. None of my videos ever got more than a few hundred views.

The other day my original YouTube account was nuked. Just completely wiped out. This was my account I've had since 2009 – over a decade of content.

So I've decided to cut ties with YouTube completely and just make all my videos exclusively on Rumble.

I am sick of having to talk in a certain way to avoid getting censored. And I'm sick of always being afraid that they will just remove my content or ban my account for no reason.

I'll still post videos here and there on YouTube, just telling people to find me on Rumble.

Rumble

Once I finalize where I will be living, I will start making videos again, but it could be a few weeks. And it will only be on Rumble.

For some reason, I have 2 Rumble channels and I have no idea how that happened or how to merge them. Ugh!

I really wish someone would work with Rumble to improve their user experience because it sucks. But even with a bad user interface, it's better than the oppressive regime over at YouTube.

Here's my Rumble channel – please follow me.

TikTok

I also got tired of making videos on TikTok because my second account was wiped out. I hate having to rebuild my account every time from ground zero – just to have it wiped out again.

I  will go back to making TikToks because short form video content is the most effective way to spread content. The neat thing about TikTok is they get shared on other social media platforms.

Kind of like Instagram reels but IG reels are not easy to download and share like TikToks are.  And I despise Instagram because I am so shadow-banned over there.

Here's my TikTok channel - please follow me.

5A. Social Media I'm Keeping

The social media landscape keeps changing every day -- it's been a rollercoaster. But with Elon Musk taking over Twitter, things are really looking up. I have a lot of hope.

Here are the social media platforms I plan to stay on, in order of priority:

Twitter

I've been watching to see what happens with Twitter, and so far, I'm very optimistic. You can literally say almost anything on Twitter and they don't delete your content.

Given that, I've decided to double down on Twitter and cut some of the other platforms out completely because I just don't have the time or energy to be able to post on multiple platforms.

I love what Elon Musk is doing and I'm so excited that he has brought free speech back online.

I lost my original Twitter account but hopefully I will get that back soon. It would be really nice if we could merge our accounts. Maybe they are working on that.

Here's my Twitter account – please follow me.

Facebook

I will stay on Facebook because it is still the number one way people find me. I lost my original account with 2 business pages – which had over 250,000 followers. I now only have a couple thousand followers, but that's something.

Here's my Facebook account – please follow me.

Truth Social

I will stay on Truth Social because that's where everyone is who was banned on Twitter – all the "anons". However, I don't post there as often because it's been hard to grow on there.

Here's my Truth Social account – please follow me.

5B. Social Media I'm Dumping

And here are the platforms I will no longer be using... of if I do use them, I'll post very infrequently.

Telegram

Telegram is the first one I am getting rid of.

I used it for the past year and a half because there is free speech there. But my account does not grow at all. I only have about 600 people following me on there – and that's after a year and a half. Pathetic!

I think because people who are looking for news and good content go to Telegram, but then they have a bad user experience and they stop using it. It happened to me – one day my Telegram app froze and I couldn't figure out how to fix it.

There are also a ton of spam bots on Telegram and I am sick of it.

So I won't be posting on Telegram anymore. Please follow me on Twitter or Facebook instead.

Parler

Never really much liked Parler. Am going to delete off my phone.

Gab & GETTR

These are fine but I just don't have time to post over there. I'll post occasionally. I'd prefer that people follow me on Facebook or Twitter.

6. My Online Course

I am still committed to teaching my online course, Online Marketing Simplified. I have not been able to post any classes in a while because of the divorce and all the tumult in my life.

That said, I want to thank those of you who already signed up, so I will be sending a note out to everyone who has already signed up and giving you guys lifetime access.

In other words, no more annual payments for all my current subscribers.

You can go sign up now and you'll get lifetime access with just one payment of $99 – this offer goes away when I make the announcement – it will go back to annual payments of $99 or monthly payments of $17.

UGH! I just realized that when YouTube nuked my account last week they also took down my promo video for my online course. That's why the video is broken on this page. GRRR!

Do you see why I don't want to post videos there anymore? I never know when they are just going to delete them.

I love to recommend products that I personally use and I do make some money from promoting products. You can check out the products I promote on my Shop page.

8. Donations

In addition to my GiveSendGo, you can donate to me using one of the following links:

Donate via Paypal
Donate via Venmo
Donate via CashApp

9. Merch

I am very excited to create merchandise at some point – t-shirts, coffee cups, and the like.  It will be a while before I get that going but at some point it is in the plans.

10. Advertising

I used to make over $1,000 a month on my blog just from ads. I lost all my traffic in 2019 when Google buried me in search and Pinterest and Facebook started marking my links as spam. When I get traffic again, I'll start running ads.

Thank You and God Bless You

Well, that's enough planning for today. Time to go work on another blog post.

Thank you to everyone who is rooting for me. Thanks for your comments, thanks for your prayers, and thanks for reading and watching.

Soon this war will be over. I look forward to that day. God bless you all.
