A Divine Calling to the Bahamas

I’m convinced this trip is meant to be. I hear the words in my head, "Deus vult," which means “God wills it,” and "Es muss sein," — German for "it must be."

This isn’t just a vacation; it’s a reward for a decade of perseverance. A celebration after the Great Tribulation.

I joined Monat, the network marketing shampoo company, in the fall of 2017 on my quest to find the best network marketing company to grow my downline.

Why Network Marketing?

Why did I decide I wanted to do network marketing? Because I'd done everything else as a blogger and I realized, this was the way to get the most bang for my buck.

In other words, make the most money, help the most people, with the least amount of effort and the least amount of overhead (staff, office, warehouse, etc.)

Team Kwan

In the first few weeks of January 2018, my team, Team Kwan, grew to about 25 or 30 people. We went all in, balls to the wall, or as I like to say, “ovaries to the wall,” since we were a group of powerhouse women.

Now, it’s time to do it again. As John Belushi said in The Blues Brothers, "We're putting the band back together."

Those words have been ringing in my ears since 2020. I knew God was calling me to do something big.

Back in January 2018, I named my group Team Kwan, inspired by Cuba Gooding Jr.'s character, Rod Tidwell, in one of my all-time favorite movies, Jerry Maguire:

Over the years, what I have learned is the great joy in running a network marketing business is not just the money you make or the trips you earn or even the products that change people's lives. It's the KWAN we are all after.

The KWAN is all of it, as Rod Tidwell says. Success, money, the whole package. It's getting to live life on your own terms.

I have never in my life gained as much confidence as I did when I was doing network marketing.

Not only that, but the feeling of being part of a group, a team of (mostly) women, all working together... I've never had so much fun.

The Dog Days of Summer

At the time, when I named our team, I just thought it was about Jerry Maguire. I just found out last week that the word "kwan" means "dog."

That's where the Dog Days of Summer comes from, when the Nile River flooded in ancient Egypt, clearing debris and remineralizing the soil for the fall planting.

This leads up to Rosh Hashanah, the New Year, when new seeds are planted.

Seven years ago, God gave me the name Team Kwan. How is it even possible that it means DOG as in Dog Days of Summer?

I think maybe because this is our time to plant our seeds, right now, as we are coming out of the Dog Days of Summer.

I promise to write a longer post about this later but suffice it to say, the stars are completely aligned. Everything has led me to this time in history and I am ready to catapult this team.

The Power of LifeWave and Our Mission

LifeWave’s products are life-changing.

They’re not just about hair care or wellness. They’re about miracles: getting people out of nursing homes, healing autism, and transforming lives. I know the FDA or FTC might raise eyebrows at these claims, but I don’t care.

I believe the three-letter agencies will face their reckoning, with assets seized under Executive Order 13818 and lawsuits that will dismantle them.

The future is bright, and I’m ready to help tens of millions of people, as God has called me to do.

Monat Was Just the Dress Rehearsal

When I launched Team Kwan in 2018, it was a dress rehearsal for this moment in time in 2025.

Back then, I built funnels instead of just selling products, despite advice to focus on sales. My team's hard work creating those funnels led to a 10% conversion rate—almost double the 6% average from my earlier marketing campaigns.

That success earned me a free trip to the Bahamas in 2018, and it was unforgettable.

Now, we are launching our first LifeWave giveaway, a funnel I’ve been planning for two years.

My Bahamas Adventures and Why This Trip Matters

I do not think it's a coincidence that there is a Bahamas trip coming up in 2026, at the end of my long struggle.

In 2018, I got to go to the Bahamas twice. The first time was in February with my ex-husband for a crypto conference.

The second trip, in the fall, was a Monat-sponsored trip with my team for selling shampoo.

Both times we stayed at Baha Mar.

The first trip with my ex-husband was good, but the Monat trip was incredible.

Amazing food, drinks, dancing, award ceremonies, and best of all, bonding with incredible, inspiring women.

Nobody got to go on the trip unless they had achieved their goals – so it was all go-getters.

The resort was stunning, and knowing the company paid for everything made it even sweeter.

Unlike my first trip, which was fun but lacked the same spark.

The Monat trip was a reward for our hard work selling all-natural, Christian-made, American products.

On that Monat trip, I met Jewley Stephens, the top earner who, at the time, was making $6 million a year.

Sitting in her cabana, I listened to her and another leader, Ann, share business strategies.

Later, during the golden hour, I wandered off to take photos with my DSLR camera. Julie bumped into me—literally—and we bonded over shared struggles, like jealousy from others in the company.

I was facing persecution for publicly supporting President Trump in 2017, after being a lifelong Democrat and atheist. Coming back to Christianity and speaking my truth cost me friends and family, but I don’t regret it.

The Bible says, “The truth shall set you free,” and it has. I’m freer and happier than ever.

Overcoming Challenges and Building Resilience

My journey hasn’t been easy. But that's what prepared me to do this.

In 2013, my blog network was shut down by three-letter agencies, and I faced public shaming.

Lies were spread about me not paying bloggers, but I paid every penny owed. Only those who breached contracts went unpaid.

In 2015, I spoke out against mandatory vaccinations in California, and some of relatives, (ahem) nurses, unfollowed and blocked me on Facebook.

By 2017, supporting Trump led to more betrayal, even within my Monat team. I have the screenshots. But you know what, I don't regret anything.

Those experiences taught me who my true friends are and prepared me for this moment.

I am honestly at the point now where I don't GAF what anyone thinks of me. The great thing about losing everything is you have nothing to lose.

• Personally enroll 45 brand partners at the lowest package level (you need fewer if people enroll with the bigger packages).
• Personally enroll 11 brand partners at the highest package level.
• It's not all just about enrollments. You also earn extra points by ranking up or helping others rank up.

You just need a combo of points from various activities – including any combo of the above – to get to the Bahamas.
